Girls at 3 Months

Just for fun I thought I would look at pictures of the girls at the same age. While they both have the same round faces/heads and chubby cheeks... Rob and I don't think they look anything alike. But maybe that is just from the parents point of view!

January 2010

It's a really good thing that being better about updating my blog was NOT on my list of New Year's Resolutions because I would be failing that one for sure! We have been really busy lately although I don't have a ton of pictures to show it so you'll just have to take my word on it.

Rob and I celebrated our 5 year wedding anniversary on December 30th. Well we celebrated it later that weekend with a dinner out and a movie (I convinced him to take me to see Twilight:New Moon). I meant to do a post on that day but blogging has been on the bottom of the priority list!

My Dad and Debbie gave us a pass to the Arizona Museum for Youth in Mesa and we've definitely been taking advantage of this membership. We have met up with lots of friends at the museum - Christina and E, Lauren and her girls, Kelli and her girls, Amy and Brooklyn, etc. (I think 90% of my friends only have girls - kind of funny!). We love the museum and Ellie asks to go there every single day and I usually give in at least once a week. It's fun and close!

We had a fun Girl's Night Out at the beginning of the month. Becky, Amy, Christina, Jessica and I met up at Red Robin for a yummy dinner and then headed back to my place for some fun on the Wii. I was given two Wii games to test out - Your Shape by Jenny McCarthy and Just Dance. Just Dance is hilarious and a lot of fun even if it's not really accurate. We had a few dance offs and I have to give props to Christina for participating 8+ months pregnant!

January is a great month for the park in Arizona so we've spent lots of times at the parks. We captured the girls (Brooklyn, E, and Ellie) eating their snacks on the park bench. I love how much these girls love playing with each other!

And then Brooklyn had her 3rd birthday party at a park and Amy got a picture of them (that I stole off her blog):

Ellie, Chloe and I met up with Karlie and Sam at the Phoenix Zoo one day. I don't have any pictures but Ellie can still tell you everything we did at the zoo that day and how much fun she had with Sam!

Our spare time is spent hanging out at home. Chloe has been working on tummy time and she can roll over now (although not consistently). She is still the best baby ever and sleeps a good 10-12 hours at night without needing to be fed. And sleeps during the day still also! She's very easy going and happy and loves to babble and smile. We just can't get enough of her! She's still filling out and I just love my chunky little girl.

Ellie is being your typical almost 3 year old. Very very busy and into everything! She has finally mastered how to ride her bike and most of the days at home are spent on our backyard patio riding in circles. And asking me to join her outside! And of course jumping on her little trampoline. She hasn't gotten into too much trouble lately other than constantly sharing her colds with Chloe and myself. She loves her little sister and always wants to be near anyone who is holding her or talking to her! Hopefully she will continue to love her this much when they are growing up.
