My mother in law came over on Saturday and did the nicest thing for me. She spent 3-4 hours cleaning my house for me! Mainly scrubbing down both of my bathrooms (tub, sink, shower, etc) and my kitchen. It was such a great gift! Rob likes to tease me and call me "Monica" from Friends because I can be a little nazi like about a clean house (which is funny because growing up I had the messiest room ever). But I do really like my house clean. Probably because it's finally "my house". Ever since I started getting morning sickness (which still hasn't fully gone away) - I haven't been able to clean my house like normal. In my rare moments of feeling well - I did your basic surface cleaning but not my normal cleaning. It is amazing to me how much of a pick me up that was to have a clean house. I feel so much better! Granted - the office and the soon to be nursery are a disaster zone! But at least I can close those doors and enjoy the rest of my clean house.

that is SO nice! i feel your pain. i haven't done any deep cleaning for the last month and a half. i was finally up to the challenge today, and i only got about a third done that i wanted to do. i was just feeling too weak! i'm hoping the energy picks up soon. i'm sure you are too!
How sweet of her! I wish someone would do that for me. I think Javier considers me "Monica-like" too. He's been home all day for over a week now because he had day surgery and can't work right now. He never realized just how much I clean!! A few times, he's been like "can you just stop for a minute??" But with 2 toddlers it's not possible! I clean for the majority of my day it seems. Speaking of which, I have laundry and a kitchen to clean now :( I hope your morning sickness slows down a bit soon!
